The craft of building superb custom homes is a family tradition for the Hansmanns

Steve Hansmann is a second-generation builder, learning to be a fine custom home specialist from his father. He knows every aspect of the trade and is a hands on builder. He studied architecture and developed the aptitude to understand architectural drawings, and uses that knowledge to help ensure the structural integrity of a home. The most common observations we receive from our clients are how gifted Steve is and how easy he is to work with.

Julie Hansmann has a Bachelors degree in business and was in real estate sales and leasing for many years. In addition, she studied interior design. Julie has used her diverse business background and strong organizational skills to manage the construction office for 17 years, and she keeps operations running efficiently. She even won an award from Staples Office Supplies for a product she invented specifically for organization! Julie's effective management of the office allows Steve to spend the majority of his time at the job sites.

John Hansmann is Steve and Julie's son and represents the third generation of Hansmann builders, thus our name Hansmann & Sons. Steve's father, John Sr., taught Steve about building and now Steve is passing the skill to John. John has proudly worked with us since 2004 and is becoming a skilled carpenter.
