Log Home Restoration

Years ago, a Central Oregon couple bought this early 1900’s log home and adjoining guest house situated on 1,200 secluded acres. The property offered privacy and miles of the Deschutes River flowing past. With walking trails, a fishing pond, and a horse facility, it was a great destination for summer getaways with their children and grandchildren. As their family grew, so did their desire to expand the home and guest house.

They hired Hansmann & Sons to remodel the guest house and the main house. It was a large undertaking having to take new logs and have them match the old existing logs.

In the main house, Steve Hansmann designed and built a larger living room, a completely new state-of-the-art kitchen, and created a new master bedroom suite. The owners were very pleased with the finished project and have had Hansmann & Sons do four other projects for them.
